F1: Current driver salary contract expiration dates (Update)

We have highlighted the six drivers we believe are out of a contract at the end of this season.
It will be interesting to see who gets to re-sign and for how long. 2023 Driver Performance will be key.
In the case of Lewis Hamilton, car performance will be key. If the 2023 Mercedes W14 is another dog, his interest to continue as a driver will be diminished, and he could choose to retire.

Below are the estimated base salaries for each 2023 F1 driver, excluding any personal endorsements and performance bonuses.
Max Verstappen has the longest running contract, good through 2028 and Lewis Hamilton is expected to sign at least a 2-year extension before the 2023 season begins.
