Video: 2024 Corvette Z06 GT3.R Testing At Sebring

The new Corvette Z06 GT3.R racing machine was just spotted undergoing testing at Sebring International Raceway in Florida ahead of its competition debut in 2024.

GM announced the 2024 Corvette Z06 GT3.R in November of the 2021 calendar year, unveiling a full-blown turn-key race car that would be available to customer race teams in the 2024 calendar year. Built to global GT3 regulations, the new Corvette Z06 GT3.R will be available to race in a number of different race series, including the IMSA WeatherTech Championship, Fanatec GT World Challenge, and Intercontinental GT Challenge.

By comparison, the Corvette C8.R that competes under the Corvette Racing team is not available for purchase by customer teams, while the 2024 Corvette Z06 GT3.R is specifically designed for customer racers and will likely not be fielded by the factory team.
