IndyCar: Friday Morning Report from the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach

Good morning from a sunny but cool Long Beach, California.  The next few days will be filled with more activities and racing than most stops on the NTT INDYCAR Series schedule.  

The weather has been disappointing so far, with clouds and a bit of drizzle during the media luncheon on Thursday.  The rest of the weekend should be in the 60-degree temperatures, with Sunday being the warmest, in the high 60s with no mention of any precipitation.

The first practice session for the IndyCars is scheduled for 3 pm PST.   The IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship series have two practice sessions at 9 am and 12:45 pm with qualifying for their Saturday afternoon race at 5:10 pm today.
