F1: Japanese GP Saturday Qualifying Attendance 130,000 strong

The 3.608 mi Suzuka Circuit long motorsport racetrack located in Ino, Suzuka City, Mie Prefecture, Japan and operated by Mobilityland Corporation, a subsidiary of Honda Motor Co, Ltd, has a capacity of 155,000.

And just about every seat was filled for F1 qualifying Saturday that saw Red Bull Honda driver Max Verstappen narrowly win the pole over the two Ferraris of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz Jr.

 

Unfortunately, rain is forecast for Sunday’s race, which will impact the attendance and the race strategies.
