IndyCar: Series looking to regurgitate failed venues
Genius Albert Einstein once said, the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.
Racer rumors that the NTT IndyCar Series is considering regurgitating races that have failed previously on one or more occasions:
- Milwaukee Oval: Failed many times
- Denver Street Race: Failed twice
- Monterey, Mexico: Failed once
- Richmond Oval: Failed twice
It will be interesting to see whether IndyCar can find the magic this time around.
If not, there are other failed ovals they can try again – Dover, Charlotte, Atlanta, Michigan, Fontana, Kentucky and the like.
Meanwhile, it’s year 12 and still the rumored 3rd IndyCar engine supplier has not materialized. Perhaps year 13 it will be rumored again.
