F1: 2023 F1 calendar forces Spa 24 date change
The release of Formula 1’s record 24-race 2023 calendar has forced the GT World Challenge to move the 24 Hours of Spa from its traditional date.
Originally slated for July 28-30, the Belgian Grand Prix F1 race is now that weekend.
That event has moved earlier in the calendar as part of the reshuffle for 2023 F1 calendar, which brings the Belgium before the summer break.
Spa-Francorchamps has typically hosted the first F1 race following the mandatory mid-season shutdown.
The 24 Hours of Spa has been shifted to the opening weekend in July as a consequence, which in turn has other impacts on the GT season.
