IndyCar: Herta gets 6-spot grid penalty for Sunday’s race

Andretti Autosport driver Colton Herta will have a 6-spot grid penalty tomorrow (5th to 11th) pursuant to rule 16.5.4.

The penalty stems from his Carb Day crash. Honda attempted to repair the engine, but it has since been deemed unrepairable.

The penalty would normally have been served at the next race (Detroit) but HPD did not deem it unrepairable until now.
