IndyCar: Paretta Autosport announces partnership with The Henry Ford

Paretta Autosport announced today a multi-year educational partnership with The Henry Ford focused on outreach, awareness, growth and accessibility of STEM learning and career opportunities in automotive, racing, business, innovation and entrepreneurship to educate and inspire girls and women.

“Paretta Autosport embodies The Henry Ford’s mission to inspire that next generation of innovators, thinkers and doers,” said Patricia Mooradian, President and CEO of The Henry Ford. “Beth and her team are changing the world of racing and paving the way for women from all backgrounds to discover their potential and achieve their dreams. We are thrilled to partner with Paretta Autosport to create more awareness around opportunities for women in the automotive and racing fields.”

Paretta Autosport and The Henry Ford will use the ideas and stories from the institution’s newest permanent exhibition Driven to Win: Racing in America to inspire students and lifelong learners. The exhibition explores over a century of auto racing history, and tells the authentic, compelling stories of the passion, inspiration and innovation that propels drivers, their cars and teams to victory. Through this partnership, the two organizations will demonstrate real-world applications of STEM principles and innovation learning through the lens of motorsports, activating The Henry Ford’s Model i learning framework to encourage others to explore new ideas, overcome challenges, and develop an innovative mindset.

“The Henry Ford plays a unique role in capturing the imaginations of students,” said Beth Paretta, Team Principal, Paretta Autosport. “I am thrilled with this partnership as it will help us showcase how motorsports is the ultimate example of STEM in action. We can continue to grow our audience off the track while introducing them to our exciting endeavors on the track. We invite all racing fans to visit The Henry Ford and the Driven to Win exhibit in Dearborn, Michigan and online at THF.org and be inspired.”
