F1: Michael Andretti has to ask himself….

Yesterday was the last day F1 teams could upgrade their engines for performance.

From today, the engines will be frozen all the way till the end of 2025 before we get the new engine regs in 2026.

So Michael Andretti has to ask himself, do I sign a deal with Renault and guarantee I have an inferior engine until 2026, or do I sign a deal with Ferrari, who Toto Wolff says now has the most powerful engine?

Of course Renault could be offering free engines for a period of time, and as a new team, the Andretti cars will be sucking fumes from the back of the grid for a while anyway.
