F1 Testing: Leclerc fastest in Ferrari at Lunch Break in Barcelona (Update)
Fast Times as of 1pm on Wednesday
Max Verstappen may have only been 6th fastest, but he and Mazepin set their times on the harder C2 rubber. The majority of drivers set their times on the medium yellow C3 tires. No one is showing their true hand this early.

The radical Ferrari sidepods just might be a winner if early Barcelona test times are any indication.
Charles Leclerc has turned the fastest time as of Noon local time in Barcelona in his #16 Ferrari at 1m20.165s on the C3 compound tire. The teams have all 5 dry weather compounds at their disposal with C1 being the hardest.
George Russell was 2nd quick at 1m20.784s in the always superior Mercedes. Word from the paddock is that in this early running, the Mercedes is already looking impressive – finding grip where there is none and looking on rails through the corners.
Lando Norris, Max Verstappen and Yuki Tsunoda round out the top-5 so far.
