IMSA: Mouser Electronics and Molex LLC to Join Vasser Sullivan Lexus Program

Vasser Sullivan is pleased to announce that long-time supporters Mouser Electronics and Molex LLC will join the Vasser Sullivan Lexus IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar program as associate sponsors of both the No. 14 Vasser Sullivan – Lexus RC F GT3 GTD PRO and the No. 12 Vasser Sullivan – Lexus RC F GT3 GTD Class efforts.

Mouser Electronics, the industry’s leading new product introduction (NPI) distributor with the widest selection of semiconductors and electronic components, will once again proudly team up with valued manufacturer Molex to sponsor both the Vasser Sullivan Lexus Racing entries for the 2022 IMSA season.

Mouser previously sponsored the Vasser Sullivan IndyCar team, seeing the opportunity as an inventive way to communicate its performance-driven business model and promote the newest technologies; since then, the Mouser and Molex relationship with Vasser Sullivan has bred success having won the Indianapolis 500 and producing multiple wins and podiums with Vasser Sullivan Indy Car.

As a global authorized distributor, Mouser offers the world’s widest selection of the newest semiconductors and electronic components — in stock and ready to ship™. Mouser’s customers can expect 100% certified, genuine products that are fully traceable from each of its manufacturer partners. To help speed customers’ designs, Mouser’s website hosts an extensive library of technical resources, including a Technical Resource Center, along with product data sheets, supplier-specific reference designs, application notes, technical design information, engineering tools and other helpful information.

The 2022 season will mark the fourth season Lexus and Vasser Sullivan have partnered together. During that time, the Lexus RC F GT3 has earned seven GTD class wins, 18 podiums and nine pole positions.

The Vasser Sullivan Lexus RC F GT3 entries return to the track for the Roar Before the Rolex 24 at Daytona International Speedway on January 21-23 to prepare for the 2022 Rolex 24 at Daytona on January 29-30.

All seven Vasser Sullivan Lexus RC F GT3 drivers will participate in the Roar Before the Rolex 24 at Daytona to prepare and qualify for the 2022 Rolex 24 at Daytona.

Vasser Sullivan Team Principal James ‘Sulli’ Sullivan:
“Mouser Electronics and Molex together have really been a main stay in our past success and we’re delighted to now have them part of our future growth.  We’ve had a long collaboration with both companies and will be leaning on both their technical knowledge and automotive prowess to help move the Vasser Sullivan Lexus program forward as we graduate into GTD Pro, and renew our focus of winning a GTD championship,” said Co-Owner James “Sulli” Sullivan.
