IndyCar and IMSA: Yokohama Tire Joins Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach

Yokohama Tire has joined the 2021 Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach as an Associate Sponsor, officials from both organizations announced today.

Yokohama Tire Corporation is the North American manufacturing and marketing arm of Tokyo, Japan-based The Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd. Since expanding to the United States in 1969, Yokohama has been an industry leader in tire technology and innovation across the globe. With manufacturing plants, a research & development facility and distribution centers spread across the U.S., Yokohama employs thousands of people and produces high-quality tires for its consumer and commercial divisions.

Active in motor racing, Yokohama sponsors and supplies tires for such series as Global Time Attack and Super Lap Battle, Porsche Sprint Challenge North America and Nitro Rallycross, as well as events like the Porsche Pikes Peak Trophy by Yokohama.

As an Associate Sponsor at the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach, Yokohama will receive visibility on-track and on television with colorful signage in key locations around the world-famous, 11-turn Acura Grand Prix course.

The Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach will be headlined by the season finale of the 2021 NTT INDYCAR SERIES, as well as the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. In addition, the weekend will include the Super Drift Challenge under the lights on Friday and Saturday nights; SPEED Energy Stadium Super Trucks, and the new-for-2021 Historic Formula Atlantic Challenge and Global Time Attack events.

Ticket prices range from $34 for a Friday General Admission ticket to $155 for a three-day ticket that includes Sat./Sun. reserved seating in grandstand upper levels.  Pre-paid parking packages are also available, along with handicapped seating, NTT INDYCAR SERIES Paddock passes, Super Photo tickets and a wide variety of hospitality packages.
