Rumor: Sacked Bottas could replace Perez at Red Bull

The latest rumor making the rounds could see George Russell replace Valtteri Bottas at Mercedes in 2022 and for Bottas to then replace Sergio Perez at Red Bull. Perez is not qualifying well enough and finishing near the front to help the team garner maximum points and may, therefore, get the axe.

It is thought that Bottas would perform better than Perez – he makes the perfect water boy to Lewis Hamilton now and would perform the same as Max Verstappen’s water boy.
