Video: Major flooding at Spa (Update)

The tunnel under Eau Rouge has become unstable due to the heavy rain.

Hopefully, the track above does not collapse, but so far, part of the asphalt has heaved up, so it’s not looking good.

Part of the grandstand is unstable caused by the sand and soil supporting it being washed away.

Many small boulders are seen rolling down the track toward Eau Rouge

The Spa Francorchamps circuit, home of the Belgian GP F1 race, is closed this weekend and the Spa Euro Race weekend washed out.  And lucky it is.

As can be seen from the flooded tunnel under the track, shown above, and the two videos below, there certainly would be no racing at Spa this weekend.
