Walmart chooses F1 over IndyCar
They could be sponsoring a car in IndyCar, but the TV ratings are too low. So Walmart has chosen to be an associate sponsor on the Red Bull F1 team.
F1 has a huge global TV audience owing to its great TV deals in each country, so even though a small decal on an F1 car would be equal to a primary sponsorship on two IndyCars, Walmart chose to place a small decal on the Red Bull F1 team.
