Rolex 24 Hour 14: Cadillacs and Corvettes run 1-2
As the Rolex 24 hit the 14-hour mark Mike Conway led in the #31 Whelen Engineering Cadillac, however, Scott Dixon pitted the #01 Ganassi Cadillac just before the clock hit hour 14 with a 58-second lead. Dixon will be back in the lead once the #31 pits.
Ricky Taylor ran 3rd in the #10 Wayne Taylor Acura just 4-seconds behind the leader.
The two Corvettes continued to run 1-2 at the front of the GTLM class – leading all but two laps of the race so far. Currently, Alexander Sims has the #4 Corvette ahead of the #3 Corvette of Nicky Catsburg by just 1.7s.
The #74 Ligier leads in LMP3 and the #8 Oreca leads in LMP2.
The hotly contested GTD class is led by the #57 Mercedes AMG by just 0.6s over the #21 Ferrari.
