NASCAR driver Ryan Newman was the most-searched for athlete of 2020, according to Google.
Before the pandemic hit Newman survived a dramatic crash at the Daytona 500 in February.
He had been leading the final lap of the race when he saw his car spin and go airborne, flipping several times and landing in a fiery wreck.
The 43-year-old driver was hospitalized for two days with serious but non-life-threatening injuries and said he had no memory of the incident.
The NASCAR driver topped the list ahead of NBA legend Michael Jordan and boxer Tyson Fury, who were ranked second and third respectively.
