F2: Ralph Boschung joins Campos Racing for 2021

Ralph Boschung is the second confirmed driver on the 2021 Formula 2 grid, with Campos Racing announcing that they have signed the Swiss ahead of the new season.

Boschung – who returns to F2 on the back of a year out from full-time formula racing – will bring his considerable experience to the Spanish side, having previously driven at this level. Together, they will renew their F2 partnership from 2017, when Boschung scored three points finishes.

“I am proud to make my comeback in F2 with Campos Racing,” elated Boschung. “I have tremendous respect for this team and I am convinced that with this deal we will have a great season in 2021.

The 23-year-old has also previously competed in the now defunct GP3 series, as well as ADAC Formel Masters.

Campos are currently ninth in the Teams’ Championship and have helped Jack Aitken to two podiums this season. The Spanish team were a race winning outfit in 2019, with the British driver taking three wins, as well as four podiums.
