‘Fastest I’ve ever been in my entire life’: Scott McLaughlin

Three-time Supercars champion Scott McLaughlin has turned his first laps at the home of the Indy 500.

Just days after making his IndyCar debut at the 2020 season finale in St Petersburg, McLaughlin was back in the car for his first test at the famous Indianapolis oval circuit.

“Rookie Test Complete – I went the fastest I’ve ever been in my entire life… 1 step closer to the Indy 500 (sic),” McLaughlin wrote on Twitter.

McLaughlin did not reveal his speed but reports put him around the 220mp/h mark.
