Risi Competizione Announces 1st Phorm As New Partner
The Houston, Texas-based Risi Competizione Ferrari team announces sports nutrition/fitness apparel company 1st Phorm as a team partner for the 88th annual running of the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans race this week in Le Mans, France. 1st Phorm will be featured on the fan-favorite red No. 82 Ferrari 488 GTE-Pro car, which will be driven by Sébastien Bourdais, Olivier Pla and Jules Gounon, all French-born racers.
The St Louis, Missouri-based 1st Phorm was founded in 2009 and is led by brothers Andy and Sal Frisella, CEO and president respectively.
“We are happy to partner with our friends over at 1st Phorm in joining us this year for Le Mans,” said Giuseppe Risi, owner of both the Houston and Woodlands (Texas) Ferrari dealerships and the Risi Competizione Ferrari racing team. “The Frisella Brothers are racing enthusiasts in addition to spearheading their successful sports nutrition company and there’s no better place to display and introduce your company to sporting fans than Le Mans.”
“This was a great opportunity and personal dream of mine to be able to showcase 1st Phorm on an international scale at Le Mans, which is one of the biggest sporting events in the world,” said Andy Frisella, CEO of 1st Phorm International.
Sal Frisella, President of 1st Phorm added, “The drivers that compete in racing, and especially endurance racing, have to be incredibly fit to be able to focus on driving over 200 miles per hour in all kinds of weather and conditions. They are an inspiration to our customers who live a lifestyle focused on improving their health, performance and physique. We design products on the single concept of making the best products possible to help people get the best results. All our products are backed by research and created to solve problems that we all face while we try to get healthier. This is a great experience to be a part of Le Mans with one of the top teams whose goal is to win.”
1st Phorm’s ‘Who We Are’ statement shares a similar motto to many aspiring racing drivers and goes like this: ‘It’s that crazy vision of what you truly aspire to be in life that recurs over and over and over again. The courage one must possess to go after that dream is what sets extraordinary people apart from everyone else.’
