Pransters get Alexander Rossi good (Update)
Rossi has revealed that it was Conor Daly and Colton Herta who played the prank on him. They certainly got him good and it foretold of things to come in the race as Rossi’s wheels literally came off when he plastered the Turn 2 wall.
2020 has not been a good year for Rossi in more ways than one.
August 19, 2020As shots continue to be taken directly at me for such devious acts in the @IMS bus lot… I received an anonymous email today with a photo attached… Hmmm, looks to me like the flowing hair and Yankee loyalty of one @ColtonHerta … 🧐 @AlexanderRossi 👀 #Innocent pic.twitter.com/ucetCmYzIZ

NTT IndyCar Series drivers have pulled off many a prank over the years, and Andretti Autosport has a long history of some high-profile jokes over the years.
One time Mario Andretti duct-taped shut the Porta-John Bobby Unser was in, and he missed his qualifying slot and had to start at the back.
And this year was no different.
Alexander Rossi discovered the wheels missing from the golf kart outside his motorhome when he awoke Wednesday morning at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and immediately vowed revenge. Note where the prankster put the tires in the photo above.
So here’s the thing about pranks in the @IMS bus lot…the list of potential culprits can be extensive. But one thing is for certain, once I find out who it is, payback is going to be a painful lesson. pic.twitter.com/HdjiCN3aUc
