Brack tests in Australia

Former Indianapolis 500 champion Kenny Brack moved a step closer to switching to V8 Supercars after a surprise test in Queensland last week. The Swedish-born ex-Champ Car and Indy Racing League steerer jetted in from the US to try out for the Dick Johnson squad. Brack had a run in an old AU V8 and the Development Series car that Channel 7 weatherman Grant Denyer will handle in the second-tier championship alongside the V8 Supercars starting in Adelaide this weekend. "He's easy to work with and a good guy who is no problem to get along with," Dick Johnson said of Brack. "We're just trying different things and looking to the future. There is nothing definite. "He hopped off the plane and went straight to the track and he went OK." Foxsports.au
