Ford may want Tagliani in V8 Supercars

Been told by an insider that Ford Oz would be willing to pay money to get Alex Tagliani into a Ford V8 Supercar and that this may happen in 2006 or 2007. Recall he drove in one race last year and must have made a good impression.

The Team Australia Champ Car team could possibly run two Australian drivers (Briscoe and Power?) which would leave Tagliani looking for another seat. If our insider is correct and Ford Oz is that impressed with Tagliani, who knows what might happen, though as we understood it, Team Australia was already in contract negotiations with Tagliani. Rest assured that the V8 Supercar Series would probably love to do some promotion stuff with Tagliani's beautiful wife, Bronte, who just happens to be Australian.
