Will Indy 500 have a full 33-car field?

Last year Simon Pagenaud beat Alexander Rossi in a shootout to win.

So far the Indy 500 has only 30 confirmed entries for the Indy 500 with practice starting next week. They need 3 more but money is tight. If not for Andretti Autosport's 6 cars (7 if you count their association with Meyer Shank Racing) things would be dire.

So far there are 15 Honda powered cars and 15 Chevy powered cars. We expect Dale Coyne to run a 3rd car for either Stefan Wilson, James Davison or Oriol Servia, so that brings up the count to 31. Carlin and Dreyer & Reinbold can both add a 2nd car to bring the total to 33.
