EuroF3 driver punches out another driver

A bizarre incident happened this past weekend at the first F3 Euroseries race at the Norisring between ART Grand Prix driver Jules Bianchi and Prema F3 driver Stefano Coletti after the rostrum ceremony.

On their way to the press center Bianchi appeared to have said “You are a gay driver" to Coletti. Coletti immediately punched the Frenchman in his face. Race winner Bianchi refused to attend the press conference at the media center. The steward immediately took action and excluded the Prema F3 driver from the meeting.

The case has been forwarded to his local ASN at Monaco, who has to report this to the FIA. As we left the Norisring this afternoon we understood Coletti faces far more serious consequences for his actions and his participation in the F3 Euroseries for the remainder of the season is in doubt.
