Mick Schumacher’s impressive run of form in the European F3 Championship continued after another two wins and a second place at Red Bull Ring, putting him one win away from the title with three points scoring rounds remaining at the season finale in Hockenheim.

The son of Formula 1 legend Michael Schumacher has shone in the latter half of the F3 season winning five races in a row: he followed a hat-trick of victories at Nurburgring earlier this month with two wins and a second place at Red Bull Ring this weekend.

Schumacher led from pole in race #2 to take his fifth consecutive Formula 3 European Championship race win, as main title rival Dan Ticktum crashed out.

Ferrari junior Robert Shwartzman took his maiden Formula 3 European Championship race win in race #3 to deny Mick Schumacher a second successive weekend clean sweep.

Shwartzman made a slightly better start than polesitting Schumacher, and Schumacher squeezed him to the inside on the run up to Turn 1 but he was never able to make a pass and settled for 2nd.
