The Andretti Autosport McLaren 570S GT4 has lost its Am class win from Saturday's’s Pirelli GT4 America SprintX contest at Circuit of The Americas in a post-race technical infringement.

Jarett Andretti and Karl Thomson steered the No. 36 McLaren to first in Am and fourth overall on the team’s debut in the GT4 formula.

However, their McLaren GT4 was found to have been 161 pounds underweight when checked during post-race inspection, resulting in its disqualification.

The measure means Team Panoz Racing picks up the SprintX Am victory with its Avezzano GT driven by Preston Calvert and Matt Keegan.

In race 2 the Andretti Autosport McLaren was again 1st in class in the SprintX Am category and this time they were legal.
