Paul Tracy to drive in SRX

The third driver for Ray Evernham and Tony Stewart‘s Superstar Racing Experience has been revealed. On Wednesday, the series announced Paul Tracy will join Stewart and Tony Kanaan in the new stock car league, set to kick off in summer 2021.

“Big thanks to @TonyStewart @RayEvernham @SRXracing for the invite," Tracy tweeted. “It’s going to awesome to race against some legends of Motorsports".

Evernham is leading the SRX car’s development; drivers will race in identically-prepared vehicles.

On Tuesday, the series teased what the car’s nose would look like, including a large splitter and an alternate version with an X-shaped grille. After lukewarm fan reception to the splitter, Evernham remarked it will be removed, though the grille will be retained.
