Rolex eyes Daytona 500

Rumor has it that Rolex is seriously seeking the sponsorship of next years Daytona 500. They would give up rights to the 24 hour Rolex road race and instead would sponsor the 36 Hours of Daytona 500. The pageantry would be spectacular. Earth, Wind and Fire would perform. A chorus dressed in yellow rains slickers would perform a medley including such songs as Rain Drops Keep Falling on my Head, and Fire on the Water. Each performer would carry a red fire extinguisher. The National Anthem would be replaced by Prince singing Purple Rain. The drivers would be introduced and given a 21 fire hose salute as they approach their cars.
