Busch could move to Richard Childress Racing in 2013

Team owner Richard Childress says he has talked to embattled driver Kurt Busch about driving for Richard Childress Racing if sponsorship can be found.

Childress told ESPN.com Friday that he would field a fourth Sprint Cup team for Busch if he could find sponsorship. "I have talked to Kurt about running a full season with a fourth team if we had sponsorship,'' Childress told ESPN.com Friday at Richmond International Raceway. "He's a very, very talented driver.

"I like Kurt. Kurt and I would get along. There's just not a sponsor out there today that can fill a complete car.''

Childress added that "It's getting late in the year" to find sponsors for next season.

A spokesman for Busch told ESPN.com that Busch had nothing to add to Childress’ comments.
