Five years ago, Marcos Ambrose came all the way from Tasmania. Saturday morning, he came all the way from Michigan. Then, in the afternoon, on Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, Ambrose came all the way from the back of the pack to finally win the NAPA Auto Parts 200 in the NASCAR Nationwide Series.

Not only was Ambrose able to battle from the back of the field where he was forced to start because he was not able to qualify Friday, but he also was able to recover from a restart incident with pole-stitter and local favorite Jacques Villeneuve to earn his fourth Nationwide Series victory.

Villeneuve's teammate at Penske Racing, IndyCar Series regular and fellow Quebecois Alex Tagliani, came in second while Michael McDowell, Steve Wallace and Canadian J.R. Fitzpatrick rounded out the top five.

Ambrose, who won last week in the Sprint Cup Series at Watkins Glen, was qualifying his Cup car Friday at Michigan International Speedway for Sunday's Pure Michigan 400. The win at Watkins Glen was his first in the Cup Series. His previous three Nationwide wins also were at Watkins Glen.
