Prost beats Mansell

Alain Prost beat Nigel Mansell to victory in a special charity race for motorsport legends on Saturday night. The two Formula 1 greats joined fellow ex-world champions Jody Scheckter and Emerson Fittipaldi, and ex-motorcycle champions Mick Doohan and Johnny Cecotto for a series of timed shoot-outs in cars from the German DTM series.

The six superstars raced against the clock around the Norisring street circuit in Nuremberg, Germany. Prost emerged victorious when the times were added together. The 4-time F1 champion beat 1992 F1 champion Mansell by 2.4s. The event raised over $600K for various charities.
