GP2 announces 13th team

Following the announcement of Trident Racing as the 13th GP2 series team, Team President Maurizio Salvadori speaks of his plans for the squad. Trident Racing would like to thank the GP2 Series Organization and Mr. Bruno Michel in having accepted our entry request for the 2006-2007 GP2 Series and for the confidence granted in our technical, financial and marketing projects presented.

The GP2 Series represents, together with Formula 1, the maximum expression in motor racing, for the excellent organization level, for the competitiveness of the teams and for the level of drivers present: an extremely difficult challenge but at the same time very exciting for the Trident Racing partners Maurizio Salvadori, Clarence Seedorf, Eros Ramazzotti and Massimo Sigala.

Trident Racing is aware of the hard work that awaits the technical staff who look forward to the first tests in 2006 at Paul Ricard.

We are pleased to announce that Gian Maria Bruni is the first official driver for Trident Racing. Trident Racing strongly believes in Gian Maria Bruni's technical qualities and his professional maturity.

Maurizio Salvadori
