Big plans for Assen circuit
The shorter circuit created additional parking for about 7,000 vehicles and an attractive entrance court, offering the public better facilities. With the circuit shortened and parking and entrance court realized, “TT World BV" will develop a unique solution for the remaining 22 acres.
In this area adjacent to the circuit will be constructed an amusement park (TT World) for daytrip and overnight stay accommodations as well as for events and circuit supporting facilities. Along the TT World perimeter, near the new North Loop, covered stands will be built with a capacity of about 7,500 spectators (currently there are open bleachers in this area).
TT World is the result of a collaboration with the eventual operators and real estate investors. Projects include a hotel with convention facilities, a motor museum, an auditorium for events, a racecar and motor sports retail function, a motor café with bowling center, a games hall, a kart center, a fitness/aqua wellness center and various fast-food merchandising and event-supporting facilities.
(Left, Planned new Rail Station building) Fully realized, total TT World floor area will be 646,000 SF. North of the TT Circuit, the shorter track will create a magnificent recreational area attracting initiatives by “TT World BV", a partnership formed by venture capitalists Giesbers Group of Arnhem, HTO Beheer of Assen, and Kropman Installatietechniek of Nijmegen.
