Pocono has $363 Million Impact

Pocono Raceway generated a total of more than $363 million dollars into the economy of Pennsylvania in 2005, according to the results of a recent Pennsylvania House of Representatives economic impact study. The study was based on the Raceway's two NASCAR Nextel Cup Series events in 2005 (the June 12th Pocono 500 and the July 24th Pennsylvania 500), along with Pocono's extensive annual track lease program.
