Teething problems for Kubica

BMW SauberF1 drivers Robert Kubica and Sebastien Vettel continued the Hinwil based squad’s planned testing program at the Valencia circuit today where once again they were the only team on the Spanish track. Both men spent the day concentrating on set-up work in order to understand how to make best use of the Bridgestone tires.

Unfortunately, Robert was hindered by some teething problems on the new car and while they were all minor issues, they were time consuming to fix. In addition to this, during the course of the afternoon both drivers were also busy doing some Marketing activities.

Tomorrow the BMW Sauber F1 Team will again be exclusively running in Valencia where Robert will continue working on the set-up of the F1.07 while Timo Glock will take over the F1.06B from Sebastian.

Robert Kubica – 1:12.310 – 39 laps
Sebastian Vettel – 1:13.490 – 88 laps
