Conquest Racing sits out first test

As we first reported days ago, the Conquest Racing Champ Car Team announced this morning that it will not be making the trip to Sebring, Florida to take part in the first Open-Test of the season that gets underway today. Despite the team’s newly acquired Panoz DP01 being ready to take to the track and the crew members eager to see it run its first laps, the team is still negotiating with corporate sponsors. Team Owner Eric Bachelart says everything should hopefully be finalized in time for the next Open-Test which takes place at MSR Houston February 12-13. Further announcements regarding the Conquest Champ Car team will be made within the next couple of weeks. Conquest Racing PR [Editor's Note: Note the absence of Mi-Jack in the team name.
