McLaren to test alone

As Renault prepares to unveil their new car later today, the McLaren Formula One team will be putting their newly launched MP4-22 through its paces at the Valencia circuit in Spain where they will run solo in an exclusive three day session.

Double world champion Fernando Alonso shook down the new car after its official launch last week, and now it’s time to really put the new car through its paces. Together with new teammate Lewis Hamilton, Fernando will be on track for the entire three days, today, tomorrow and Friday, and the Spaniard can’t wait to get to work to ensure that his first year with his new team is all he expects it to be…
