New Honda fails on Button debut
(GMM) Jenson Button's first taste of the newly revealed Honda RA107 was very brief.
The Briton, returning to the test circuit on Thursday after a spell recovering from fractured ribs, was giving photographers at the Circuit de Catalunya one of their first glimpses of the striking black machine when it ground to a halt.
His Brazilian teammate Rubens Barrichello conducted the car's actual debut on Wednesday.
Covered in a sheet following Button's failure today, the RA107 was ignominiously hauled back to the pits on the back of a flat-bed truck.
Button, 27, said: "Although I have been out of the car for a while, I am very pleased with my return to the cockpit and also my fitness level, which I have been working hard on since Christmas."
