IRL test open to fans

Spectators can watch the IndyCar Series Open Test on Jan. 31 and Feb. 1 at Daytona International Speedway (10 a.m.-noon and 1-5 p.m.) from the Nextel FanZone by purchasing a special $10 Daytona USA track tour ticket.

The first Open Test of '07 will be the first time all IndyCar Series cars will be using 100 percent fuel-grade ethanol and the first time all will be on the historic Daytona International Speedway. A modified 2.73-mile, 10-turn road course, which incorporates the high banking of Turns 3 and 4, will be used.
