3M unveils NASCAR sponsorship program

Officials from 3M have unveiled a NASCAR sponsorship program for 2007 that includes backing a Nextel Cup race, a Cup team and a Busch Series team. The program includes title sponsorship of the 3M Performance 400 Nextel Cup race at Michigan International Speedway on Aug. 19. Also, the No. 16 Roush Racing Ford of Greg Biffle will carry 3M sponsorship for seven Cup races, while the No. 16 Roush Busch team of Biffle and Todd Kluever will carry primary sponsorship from 3M for all 35 races.
