Allmendinger wrecks yet again

UPDATE "I felt something wasn't right with the car and I wasn't sure whether we should come in to pit or stay out," Allmendinger said. "I decided to stay out another lap, and unfortunately the right front tire blew going into Turn 2 and we brushed the wall." Blown Goodyear tires, a right of passage in NASCAR.

01/30/07 About 10 minutes into the Tuesday test session at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, #84-A.J. Allmendinger crashed again in the turn 2. Allmendinger looped the car coming out of two and damaged the drivers side. It appears Red Bull Racing is putting Allmendinger in the #83 Toyota back-up car of teammate Brian Vickers. Allmendinger also wrecked on Monday. PRN's Garage Pass Radio Show

[Editor's Note: The majority of crashes so far, and there have been 4 or 5, have been caused by Goodyear's inferior tires popping. How many more years must this continue? When is NASCAR going to sign on a proper tire manufacturer, when someone gets killed and they have to bring out the body bags?]
