iRise Joins Champ Car World Series

iRise®, the world's leading application definition software company, today announced that it has signed a long-term agreement to be an official sponsor of the Champ Car World Series and will be the official software simulation supplier to the Champ Car World Series.

As part of its sponsorship, iRise will be hosting a series of CIO Roundtable events using the excitement of world-class racing as a backdrop. Each CIO Roundtable will include peer-based content on the most pressing topics facing IT executives today, followed by opportunities for CIOs to network with each other in a truly unique environment.

"We're proud to be a sponsor of the Champ Car World Series," said Mitch Bishop, chief marketing officer of iRise. "The parallels between high performance racing teams and high performance businesses are obvious. Moreover, Fortune 1000 CIOs with limited time have found that iRise CIO Roundtables eclipse the value of traditional CIO conferences since they provide unmatched access to peer-based content and the chance to build life-long relationships. Our goal is that these events will become the leading networking and content venue for CIOs, delivering incredible value for the time invested."

The Champ Car World Series is one of the world's best known open-wheel racing series, with events held all over the world on street circuits and permanent road courses. Champ Car events regularly draw over 100,000 people and attract millions of television viewers. Champ Car World Series events for 2007 will be televised on ABC, NBC, CBS Sports and ESPN.
