Two teams start Valencia test
(GMM) The rest of the formula one world is en route to Bahrain for the final pre-Melbourne test, but on Monday morning the sport's familiar engine whine returned to Spanish skies.
Unwilling to shell out the cost of a hot-weather 'flyaway' session, Williams got into action at the Valencia circuit with team testers Alex Wurz and Kazuki Nakajima.
It is scheduled to be a three-day test.
Fellow F1 independent Spyker is also running at the southern venue, and on Monday fielded Adrian Valles and the controversial test driver Giedo van der Garde.
The Bahrain test, featuring the remaining ten teams, kicks off on Thursday.
