Two crewmen injured in 500

UPDATE Josh Yost, the jackman on Jeff Burton's No. 31 Chevrolets, ruptured his left Achilles tendon during a pit stop in Sunday's Daytona 500 and will need surgery to repair it.

02/18/07 Two crewmen were injured while performing pit stops during Sunday's Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway. Josh Yost, jackman for Jeff Burton's No. 31 Richard Childress Racing team, suffered a tear to his left Achilles tendon. Jeremy Geiter, the rear-tire changer for Mike Wallace's No. 09 Phoenix Racing Chevrolet, had a high-ankle sprain of his left ankle. Yost is likely to have surgery this week, and is probably out for the rest of the season.
