NASCAR.com partners with Army Guard
NASCAR.COM, the premier online destination for NASCAR enthusiasts, today announced that it has joined forces with the Army National Guard to give race fans a season-long virtual ride-along with the No. 25 National Guard/GMAC Chevrolets piloted by Hendrick Motorsports driver Casey Mears in the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series. Using a driver-specific version of NASCAR.COM's revolutionary new TrackPass RaceView, an interactive racing application that features animation similar to that of popular sports video games, fans can follow Mears and the progress of the No. 25 car throughout each race of the 2007 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series season. Fans can log on to NASCAR.COM to register for the custom-designed application which will be provided free of charge through the National Guard partnership; a standard subscription to TrackPass RaceView is $12.95/mo or $79.95/yr.
