Massa in front at Bahrain test
(GMM) Felipe Massa on Thursday is at the top of the times after the first morning session of the Bahrain test.
The Ferrari driver's best time so far, 1.32.351, is a couple of tenths quicker than Rubens Barrichello, in the black liveried Honda.
Next on the lunchtime timesheet are Kimi Raikkonen (Ferrari), Heikki Kovalainen (Renault) and Nick Heidfeld (BMW), ahead of the two McLarens driven by Lewis Hamilton and Pedro de la Rosa.
With the exception of Williams and Spyker, who presumably for reasons of cost did not travel to the Middle East for the offshore test, every other formula one team also fielded runners on Thursday.
At the end of the three day run, a second Bahrain test at the Sakhir circuit kicks off next Tuesday.
