Sutil hits back at backmarker criticism
(GMM) Spyker's Adrian Sutil has hit back against criticism of lethargic backmarkers in the Australian grand prix by calling his drive-through penalty for blocking Lewis Hamilton "unfair".
Bemused figures including Kimi Raikkonen and Flavio Briatore made mention of drivers who were slow to heed the blue flags' commands at Albert Park on Sunday, and Sutil is also thought to have also held up Fernando Alonso.
But the German rookie told Auto Motor und Sport: "We asked the McLaren guys and they said they did not feel that they had been disadvantaged.
"So you could say that the penalty was a bit unfair."
While serving his drive-through, Sutil copped another stewards' penalty for speeding in the pit lane.
