Top 10 TUMS Moments from Bristol

The fifth stop of the 2007 season at Bristol Motor Speedway once again had the stars of the Nextel Cup Series experiencing several indigestion-causing incidents, from dizzying spins to mechanical failures. Each weekend, PRN lead anchor Doug Rice picks the Top 10 TUMS Moments from that week's racing activities. For the fifth week of the NEXTEL Cup season, top TUMS honors go to: 10. Michael Waltrip again fails to qualify and has now missed 4 straight shows, with no relief in sight. 9. Joe Nemechek heads to Bristol 19th in driver's points but a poor qualifying attempt sends "Front Row Joe" home early. 8. Dale Jarrett finally makes a race without the benefit of the champions provisional and then is crashed out almost as soon as the race starts and has to settle for 42nd place. 7. David Ragen had to be dizzy at the end of the race after the young driver spun out a total of 4 times. 5. Ray Evernham's day started great with all three of his Dodges in the top 5 only to see them eventually drop out of contention one by one, with Kahne rallying to finish 20th and get back in the top 35. 4. After a top five run in Atlanta Juan Pablo Montoya looked more like rookie at Bristol hanging on to a 30th place finish. 3. David Stremme has a great top 5 run come up short at the end and he slips to 13th. 2. Mark Martin fans have to be upset and in need of Tums after their driver elects to stay at home and surrender the points lead. 1. Tony Stewart is no doubt still upset after dominating the race and being untouchable only to have a fuel pump cable snap and then snap his chance of winning the first COT race.
