Top Ten TUMS Moments From Martinsville

The sixth stop of the 2007 season at Martinsville Speedway once again had the stars of the Nextel Cup Series experiencing several indigestion-causing incidents, from failing to make the race to late-race crashes. Each weekend, PRN lead anchor Doug Rice picks the Top 10 TUMS Moments from that week's racing activities. For the sixth week of the NEXTEL Cup season, top TUMS honors go to: 10. Bobby Labonte, who had a good day going when he spun and ended up in the wall. 9. Every driver, crew member and media person who ate a Martinsville hot dog this weekend. 8. Richard Childress and Robby Gordon, for their ongoing, indigestion-causing sponsorship battles with NASCAR. 7. Michael Waltrip's season of misery continues as he misses his fifth straight race. 6. Ward Burton crashes his primary car in practice and the native Virginian heads home early. 5. Bill Davis, whose Toyotas both qualified well but suffered problems only to finish 37th and 38th. 4. Jeff Gordon, who was denied a chance to tie Dale Earnhardt's victory total by his own teammate. 3. Casey Mears, who dropped seven spots in the Driver's Standings after his 42nd place finish. 2. Dale Jarrett spins only to have the right rear tire come off and actually travel further down the racetrack than his race car. 1. Kevin Harvick, who saw his day go up in smoke – literally – when a fire in his car filled his cockpit up with smoke and forced him to park the car while they put out the flames.
